How much does a clinic website cost in Nigeria?

What decides the price of a clinic website, what quotes often leave out, and the questions to ask before you pay anyone.

By the Kren Agency team ·

Ask five web designers to quote for your clinic website and you’ll get five very different numbers. Quotes range from a few hundred thousand naira to several million. Before you compare the prices, compare what each quote delivers, because the cheapest site is expensive if patients land on it and leave without booking.

Why quotes are so different

That spread isn’t always because someone is overcharging. Most of the time, designers are quoting for different things. One quote is a single page built from a template. Another includes a page for every treatment, a booking request form, the writing, the photos and a year of support.

Ask every designer for a written list of what’s included. A single number with no list tells you nothing.

What decides the price

These move the price of a clinic website up or down the most:

  • Number of pages. A page for each specialty or treatment helps patients find what they need and helps Google show you for those searches. Every page needs writing, design and testing.
  • Booking requests. A plain contact form costs less than a booking request that collects the treatment, preferred time and phone number, and alerts your front desk at once.
  • Who writes the words. Clear, careful copy about treatments is real work, and it has to stay within your profession’s advertising rules. Some quotes leave the writing to you.
  • Photos. Real photos of your building, team and equipment build trust that stock photos can’t. Never use patient photos without the patient’s written consent.
  • Domain and hosting. These renew every year. Ask who pays after year one, and how much.

What quotes often leave out

A website on its own rarely fills your bookings. The parts that turn visits into booked patients are often missing from the quote:

  • A Google Business Profile, so nearby patients find you on Google Maps
  • Pages written around what patients actually search, such as “dental implants in Lekki” or “fertility clinic in Abuja”
  • A clear way to book from a phone, plus call and WhatsApp buttons that work
  • An instant alert to your front desk when a booking request comes in
  • Someone to update services, hours and doctors after launch

Red flags to watch for

Walk away, or ask more questions, if you see any of these:

  • The designer registers the domain in their own name instead of the clinic’s
  • The quote is one number with no list of what’s included
  • Nobody can explain how a patient will book from the site
  • Nobody can tell you how patients will find the website on Google
  • Booking requests go to an inbox nobody at the clinic checks
  • The designer suggests promised results or before-and-after claims your professional rules don’t allow

Questions to ask before you pay

Send these to every designer you’re considering. Good ones answer quickly and clearly.

  • Will the domain be registered in the clinic’s name?
  • What happens, and what do we pay, after the first year?
  • Can our team update services, hours and doctors without calling you?
  • How will a patient book, and who at the clinic is told when they do?
  • What will you do so patients can find the website on Google?
  • Who checks the treatment pages for claims we aren’t allowed to make?

Judge the website by the bookings it brings

Measure every quote against one number: how many booked patients the site will bring in each month. A cheap site that loses enquiries costs you more than it saves.

That’s the work we do. Our Website Conversion Fix rebuilds the pages that matter, so patients who land on your site see your treatments, trust your team and book in a few taps. Lead Generation then brings more of the right patients to it.
