What does a clinic growth partner do that marketers don't?
A marketer usually covers posts or ads. A clinic growth partner owns the whole path to bookings, with your team. Here's the difference and what to ask.

A clinic growth partner owns the whole path from a stranger searching to a patient booked and coming back: found, trusted, answered, booked and returned. A marketer usually owns one piece of that path, such as posts or ads. The difference shows in the number each one answers to. A marketer reports reach and clicks. A clinic growth partner answers to booked, paying patients.
What does a marketer usually do for a clinic?
Most clinics hire a marketer for something visible. Posts on Instagram and Facebook. A few ad campaigns. Maybe a new website. That work has real value, and a good marketer makes your clinic look the part.
The trouble starts after the enquiry lands. The ad brings a DM at 1pm. The front desk is busy with walk-ins. Nobody replies until the next morning, and the patient has booked elsewhere. On the monthly report, that ad still looks like a win.
Nobody did anything wrong. Replies, bookings, reminders and recalls were simply never part of the marketer's job. So they become nobody's job.

What does a clinic growth partner own?
A clinic growth partner takes responsibility for every step a patient walks before they sit in front of your doctor, and after:
- Found. Patients searching for your treatments in your area see your clinic: campaigns, local search and content aimed at the treatments that pay.
- Trusted. They land on a website that shows your doctors, your treatments and a clear way to book.
- Answered. Every call, DM and form gets a reply while the patient is still keen.
- Booked. The "How much?" question has a good answer, with offers, packages and scripts that make saying yes easy.
- Back again. Reminders, recalls and review requests bring patients back, and their families with them.
Our post on how every piece of a clinic's sales path fits together walks through each step in detail.

Why does fixing one piece on its own waste money?
Each step feeds the next. When one breaks, the money spent on the others leaks out of it.
- More ads into a clinic that misses calls buys enquiries your team can't catch.
- A beautiful website nobody finds is a cost with no patients behind it.
- Bookings without reminders leave empty slots when patients forget.
Getting found is a good example. Google's own help page on improving your local ranking says businesses with complete and accurate info are more likely to show up in local search results. It also says positive reviews and helpful replies can help a business stand out. An incomplete profile and unanswered reviews can quietly undo a strong ad budget.
A growth partner looks at the whole chain first, then fixes the weakest link before turning up the volume.

What should you ask before you hire either one?
Whoever you speak to next, a freelancer, an agency or an in-house hire, ask these six questions:
- What number will you report to me every month? Listen for enquiries and bookings. Likes and reach alone say little about patients.
- What happens to an enquiry after it arrives? If the answer is "that's your front desk", you know where their job ends.
- Who replies to patients? Be clear on where their work stops and your team's starts.
- Who approves what goes live? Your profession has advertising rules. You should see every page, ad and message first.
- What will you fix before spending more on ads? A good answer names a specific leak.
- Will you tell me if you can't move my bookings? Honest partners say so up front.
If you are weighing in-house help against outside help, our post on an agency versus a social media manager covers the trade-offs.

How Kren works as your clinic growth partner
Kren is a team that plans, builds, launches and runs the growth side of private clinics and hospitals in Lagos and Abuja. We run seven levers together, from your website and campaigns to leak closure and follow-up automations. You can see all seven on our services page.
The split is simple:
- We set up and run your website fixes, campaigns, instant replies, missed-call text-backs, confirmations, reminders and recalls.
- Your team does the final follow-up and booking, plus the clinical care that brings patients back.
- You approve every page, campaign and message template before it goes live. That takes about 30 minutes a month.
Every month you see where enquiries came from, how many became bookings, and what we're improving next. No exaggerated claims, no promised outcomes, and no patient details anywhere.
It starts with a 30-minute strategy call. We review your clinic live, show you where patients are slipping away, and you see the plan before you pay anything.

Questions clinic owners ask about a clinic growth partner
Is a growth partner just a bigger marketing agency?
The size matters less than the scope. A growth partner is measured on booked patients, so it has to care about replies, bookings and recalls as much as ads. Ask any agency what number it reports to you each month.
Do we still need our own marketer or social media person?
Not always. If someone on your team already creates good content, that work can carry on. The bigger question is who owns the steps after the post: replies, bookings, reminders and recalls.
Will Kren reply to our patients?
No. We set up and maintain the automations that keep enquiries warm. Your own team picks up those enquiries, answers the personal questions and confirms each booking.
Can a growth partner promise a number of new patients?
No honest one can. Results depend on your area, your treatments and your budget. What you should get is a clear monthly view of what came in and what booked.
